Molly Cheeks Comes In Swinging! — “Molly Cheeks’ Wild Rainforest Surprise” Book Launch
New Book Launch
After over a year of production and preparation, we brought the rainforest to the heart of Kuala Lumpur by launching “Molly Cheeks’ Wild Rainforest Surprise” at Eslite Spectrum!
The event was held on 21st December 2025, where our Wizard Within community gave Molly and her friends a warm welcome. The event featured an exclusive sharing by our illustrator, Yi Pei, where she took the audience on a journey into book-making and how Molly’s story came to life.
Kids and adults alike were captivated by the amount of research and detail that was required to create the book as Yi Pei recounted her repeated trips to the rainforest and the challenges she faced throughout the 18-month process.
Interactive section with audiences
After the sharing, now it was the crowd’s turn to imagine Molly’s story! A mini-game was conducted where audiences were given a card with assorted placements of googly eyes and tasked to draw different rainforest animals that corresponded with the eyes for Molly to befriend. We loved seeing everyone’s creative renditions and Molly is delighted with her new pals!
Meet and Greet
The most anticipated part of the event was definitely the meet-and-greet!
Excited kids that had brought their books from home or newly purchased, lined up to get their copy signed and stamped by Yi Pei!
Attendees also received an event-exclusive Molly polaroid to add to their Leafy Photo Pocket and a mini air-dry clay set of Molly and her rainforest friends!
It was truly a magical and unforgettable experience. Thank you to all our family, friends, and community for celebrating Molly’s introduction into the Wizard Within family!
