Happy New Year from the Wizard Within Factory!
3rd Print Run for Brave Katie and the Wizard’s Funland
As we bring in 2026, let’s take a quick look into the year we’ve had!
In 2025, we kicked off the year strong with a third print run for Brave Katie and the Wizard’s Funland! This is huge for a small publishing house like us and we would like to thank every child and parent that’s bought a copy into their households. As the year progressed, we also had repeated print runs for Knockety-Knockety Knock, Brave Katie and The Great Ocean Escape, and The Wonder of You! Thank you for loving our stories as much as we do!
Collaboration Storybook
We launched our Nippon Paint and Parenthood Collaboration storybook — “Super Guardian Who?”! This exciting collaboration introduced an interactive storybook and play set featuring the Nippon Paint Blob, Ray, and Leo!
It was a big year for collaborations as we sold bundle sets with Thai toy brand, Plantoy, paired Knockety-Knockety Knock with Twinkle Planet’s organic blanket, and dove into recycling awareness with Milo!
We made so many new friends and it was especially fun to bring our Wizard Within characters to life outside of their storybooks!
You may have also seen Wizard and Katie all around Malaysia! We held several pop-ups including Eslite Spectrum Bukit Bintang, Tsutaya Aeon Mall Tebrau City, and Tsutaya Intermark. Our weekends were also kept busy by meeting our lovely communities at events such as KL Illustration Fair 2025 and TCE Baby Fair!
But wait! We also made so many international friends! Wizard Within went global as we attended renowned book fairs such as Bologna Children’s Book Fair, Beijing International Book Fair, and Southern China Book Fair. Some of our publishing friends also visited Malaysia when we participated in Selangor Children’s Book Fair and Selangor International Book Fair.
Wizard Within Turn Six!
In 2025, Wizard Within turned six and we celebrated with our first ever Anniversary Party, held at our Wizard Within Factory! This is the first time that we opened our doors to our family, friends, and local customers — and what a blast it was!
Most importantly, we introduced Molly Cheeks! Our fun-but-frightful, cheeky character is already loved by so many of you and we can’t wait to unveil more of her adventures in the upcoming years.
We also released our Story Clay sets based on “Brave Katie in the Wizard’s Funland”! The clay sets mark a fresh direction for Wizard Within, stay tuned to see how we keep story time unique and creative with air-dry clay.
It was a huge year for Wizard Within and we can’t wait for the many more years to come! A big thank you to everyone that stuck around with us this year and continue to believe in our products, we could not have made it without you! Happy New Year and let’s keep the magic going in 2026!
